Benjamin has been with BJE since 1990. He grew up in Tel Aviv, Israel and served in the Israeli Air Force. Before coming to BJE, where Benni oversees all aspects of the organization’s budget and financial operations, he was a financial analyst at Rockwell International Corporation in El Segundo, working on the B1 Bomber program. He received his Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from California State University Northridge in 1979.

Benjamin is married and has two young adult children: Jordan, a senior banking consultant at Wells Fargo Bank and Adeena, a beautician. Both attended Jewish day schools. Benjamin’s wife, Liane, is an employee of LAUSD and a part-time professor at the Rossier School of Education at the University of Southern California.
