Debra Markovic is a BJE “Concierge” for Jewish Education. Debra serves the city in assisting families looking for the best Jewish educational opportunities for their children. She works with her colleague, Rachel Kaplan, the Valley Concierge for Jewish Education. Debra also works in partnership with local early childhood centers, day schools, religious schools and summer camps.

Prior to her work at BJE, Debra worked in literacy remediation for a private educational clinic in Los Angeles.  She has a B.A. in English from UC Berkeley and an MAEd from American Jewish University. Debra is married and has three children, all of whom have attended or currently attend Jewish preschools, day schools and high schools in Los Angeles.
