Israel Education

BJE plays a vital role to ensure that present and future generations of Jews have an enduring connection with Israel.  In addition to providing continuing professional education for educators, BJE provides Israel and Hebrew educational resources to BJE affiliated schools. 

BJE’s work - and success - has not been an individual effort, but a partnership between allied national and local institutions.  BJE is a valuable partner with the Los Angeles Jewish Federation’s Tel Aviv/Los /Angeles educational partnership – a program designed to foster and create mutually beneficial relationship between students and their families in Tel Aviv and Los Angeles and to strengthen shared Jewish identities and destinies.   Currently BJE is working closely with the Tel Aviv and local staff on developing an integrated technology strategy to connect the classrooms in LA to their twin classrooms in Tel Aviv.
