• The 2,500 teachers who teach our children take part in professional development opportunities (conferences, classes and seminars) to increase knowledge and skills to strengthen their effectiveness in the classroom.
  
  
• New programs like L’shoneinu, promoting Hebrew language literacy through an immersion approach, can be piloted in classrooms throughout the community to improve student learning.
  
  
• Hundreds of teachers in Los Angeles and from across the country are interviewed, credentials checked and referred to schools, helping to fill the nearly 300 positions that are annually open. 
  
  
• The curricular needs of schools and students are effectively met through the development of advanced teacher certification programs such as the Israel Education Specialist program. 
  
  
• The program “March of the Living” (brings teens to Poland and Israel for Holocaust Remembrance Day and Israel’s Day of Independence) brings Jewish teens together from diverse streams of Jewish life. 
  
  
• $2,590,000 in financial aid to schools and student scholarships are distributed toward meeting the goal of ensuring access to quality Jewish education for every child who desires to participate.
  
  
• An innovative accreditation process is in place that guides schools through self assessment and outside review to enhance the quality of Jewish education for children, fostering excellence in school programming. 
  
  
• Hundreds of Russian Jewish immigrants are exposed each year to the whole spectrum of Judaism through a wide variety of programming that meets their spiritual and Jewish educational needs.
