Gil Graff has served as Executive Director of BJE since 1993.  Gil has been a teacher and school administrator at day and supplementary schools, Director of a residential Jewish summer camp and a college instructor at several institutions of higher learning.  His academic background includes state teaching credentials, a Masters degree in Educational Administration (CSUN), J.D. (UCLA School of Law) and Ph.D. in Jewish History (UCLA).  As Executive Director, Gil works closely with the agency’s board and its committees in policy development, with its staff in planning and delivering services and programs and with allied organizations and funders in furthering BJE’s capacity to advance the quality of and access to Jewish education for children and youth.
