Alisha Sela

Alisha has devoted her career to early childhood education.  After getting her MS in Early Childhood/Elementary Education from Bank Street College of Education in New York, she began teaching Kindergarten and PreK in both New York and later Los Angeles. She has been the Director of Kadima Day School's Early Childhood Education Center since 2019. Alisha participated in the JECELI LA cohort in 2019 and is currently serving as the President of the Early Childhood Director's Network.  

When Alisha is not at work, or dreaming up new ideas for school,  she loves to Israeli dance, bake challah, and spend time with her family.  Alisha has three children, Gavi (attending Syracuse University) Yael (attending UCSD), and Eitan (currently at Kadima Day School).  Alisha's husband, Rabbi Ahud Sela is the Rabbi at Temple Ramat Zion.
