Bio

Faith Gershbock is a native Angeleno. Faith attended LA Hebrew High School and received her Judaica Studies Credential from the University of Judaism and has taught in several local religious schools. Faith has two sons, Aaron and Jacob who graduated from Sinai Akiba and Milken Community High School. Faith has two grandchildren, Samuel Ruven and Isabel Ash Gershbock who live with their parents in Washington DC.

Faith received three life credentials from Cal State Northridge and holds a National Board-Certified Special Education Birth to age 21. Faith taught for 40 years for Los Angeles School District and is currently a day-to-day substitute for the Beverly Hills Unified School District. Faith has two master’s degrees in Reading and Learning Disorders and Gifted and Talented Education.



Faith currently serves as a board member of Sinai Temple and is their current Vice President of Membership. In the past she has served as a Board Member of Jewish Federation and COPAO and chaired the Torah Mitzvah Awards.

 

Faith is passionate about Jewish education and is grateful for the wonderful Jewish education both formal and informal that she received growing up in Los Angeles Faith attended Camp Ramah both as a camper and staff. She attended BCI and then worked for Sholom Bardin for several years.
