Michael Steuer

Michael was born and raised in the small Jewish community of Amsterdam, The Netherlands. He attended Jewish day school from age 2 through 18 and was active in various Jewish youth organizations, including as a counselor, board member and national president of Bnei Akiva Netherlands. Michael moved to Los Angeles in 2004 and resides in Beverlywood with his wife Laura, and his children Emma, Yuri and Noa. 

Michael’s 3 children have all started Pressman Academy at age 2. His youngest currently attends Pressman’s elementary school, while his two older children attend Shalhevet and De Toledo High School. His kids attend Camp Ramah in Ojai. Michael serves on the board of Pressman Academy, and is an executive board member for Temple Beth Am. Additionally, Michael serves on the executive board of the American Technion Society, and is active in pro-Israel politics.

Professionally, Michael is a technology entrepreneur and investor who has founded and operates several software companies. In his spare time, in addition to spending time with his family and friends, Michael enjoys cycling, hiking and skiing.
