Alisha Pedowitz is an experiential Jewish educator whose work revolves around building and fostering community, and utilizing community as a primary means to shape Jewish identity and inspire Jewish learning. Alisha has worked at Camp Alonim, New Community Jewish High School (now deToledo High School), Milken Community High School, and was a founding faculty member at Brawerman Elementary School East of Wilshire Boulevard Temple. Alisha holds an MBA in Nonprofit Management, an MAEd with a concentration in Experiential Education, and a Bachelor’s degree in Hebrew Letters from American Jewish University, as well as a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Stanford University. She is most importantly the proud mom of Itai and Faye.
