BJE Announces the Launch of a New Teen Experiential Educator Mentoring Fellowship
BJE is thrilled to announce the launch of a new Teen Experiential Educator Mentoring Fellowship (Mentoring Fellowship) as part of the Los Angeles Jewish Teen Initiative (LAJTI).
The ten-month (August - May) Mentoring Fellowship will enhance the skills, learning and growth of Jewish teen experiential educators who work directly with Jewish teens. Fellows will benefit from: 1) a structured mentoring relationship with an experienced professional in the field; 2) participation in affinity groups (clusters of Fellows from throughout the LA area) and 3) a Professional Development Project - chosen by the mentee with his/her direct supervisor and mentor to cultivate a specific area of skill-set growth.
LAJTI's Mentoring Fellowship is a feature of the Janet and Jake Farber Teen Experiential Educator Network and is offered at no cost to participants. LAJTI is co-funded by the Jewish Federation of Greater Los Angeles and the Jim Joseph Foundation, and supported by a generous grant from the Jewish Community Foundation of Los Angeles.Registration is open now for participation in the inaugural LAJTI Teen Experiential Educator Mentoring Fellowship. For more information about this BJE program please contact David Lewis, Director, Professional Development for Teen Educators.
