Jonathan Mooney is a writer, speaker, and social entrepreneur with 15 years of experience developing organizations, programs, and initiatives to improve the lives of marginalized people. He holds an honors degree from Brown University, is a Harry S. Truman Scholar for Public Service, and was a finalist for a Rhodes Scholarship. He is the author of two books, Learning Outside the Lines (Simon and Schuster, 2000) and The Short Bus (Henry Holt and Co., 2007) and is currently at work on his third, The End of School: Dispatches From The Front Lines of the Learning Revolution.
