Part time English Language Arts Teacher - Ohel Chana

Ohel Chana is an all-girls High School looking for an afternoon, part-time English Language Arts teacher. We are seeking a teacher who is passionate about her subject, has great classroom management skills, and can engage all types of learners. We have a newly updated rigorous curriculum that focuses on the relevance and real-life application of English class. Teacher responsibilities include:

-Planning daily lessons based on provided scope and sequence

-Covering topics in ELA such as grammar, essay writing, and reading analysis

-Engaging students in a meaningful and creative fashion

-Assessing and tracking student progress

-Supporting our school mission statement 

This part -time job is for three 45 minute classes weekly, varying between the times of 1:25-4:00 on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday.
