Sharon Zimring

Sharon Zimring was born in Mexico City and has a Masters degree in Early Childhood Education. She has been teaching at Temple Isaiah Preschool and Religious School for 22 years. Though the first children Sharon taught have now graduated college, she feels blessed to still be a part of many of their lives. She cherishes the lifelong connections formed with her children and their parents, many of whom still send her holiday cards every year and invite her to their bar and bat mitzvahs. Sharon treasures supporting her children, whether they set up lemonade stands to raise money for children in need, or simply want her to watch their T-ball games on the weekend. That sense of community is what Sharon loves most about Isaiah, as it has helped her grow into the teacher she is today. She has worked with such an amazing group of teachers and administrators throughout her years at Isaiah and appreciates each and every one of them for allowing her to blossom.

Sharon Zimring

Sharon has an innate exuberance and joy of Judaism that is felt throughout each and every day. She is the consummate professional in every way: she is collegial, collaborative, has a growth mindset and a curiosity about her to try new things with every child and in every school year. She is always looking to improve and hone her skills and has become a mentor to her fellow teachers, as well. Sharon is a teacher who uses everything at her disposal to transmit Jewish learning to her students. She is the one that helps to keep up staff morale and ensure that all Jewish holidays, stories and mitzvot are covered each and every year.  - Tamar Andrews, Senior Director of ECE and Engagement, Temple Isaiah Preschool
