Outdoor Movies at the Skirball: Captain America: The First Avenger

Friday, June 27, 8:30 pm
Witness the birth of the legendary superhero that catapulted Jack Kirby to mainstream comic book success. Set in 1942, the newly enhanced Captain America must do battle against Nazi Germany and the Red Skull as the U.S. enters World War II. Captain America: The First Avenger showcases the mental and physical transformation of Steve Rogers into the all-American superhero beloved for the past eight decades.

We offer weekly social programs and semi-weekly elective classes.

Some examples of past activities have been Movie night, Cooking night, Theater Night, Trivia, BINGO, Scavenger hunts and more.
The social programs are targeted towards children and young adults in the 13-24 age group.

Our elective class is currently offering Art programming.

Our other main program is our K-7th grade religious School Bnei Mitzvah prep program.

Camp TIOH (Temple Israel of Hollywood)

A course for anyone interested in exploring Judaism- interfaith couples, those considering conversion and Jews looking for adult level basics. This class introduces the fundamentals of Jewish thought and practice in 16-20 weeks. Topics include Jewish holidays and life cycle events, theology and prayer, Israel, history and Hebrew.
