Do you live in Los Angeles County and have a loved one with a serious disability? Have you been meaning to set aside money for that person but don?t know how?

With seed funding provided by the Jewish Community Foundation of Los Angeles, we have launched a Pooled Special Needs Trust which will provide supplemental financial support over and above government benefits, and peace of mind for you.

Yaldei Yisroel Summer Camp

Yaldei Yisroel offers camp for ages 2 through 6-year-olds. Our camp generally runs for 7 weeks and is full time from 9 to 3, Fridays until 12:30. In addition, we offer extended care Monday Through Friday from 7:50 to 9 and in the afternoons from 3 to 5 PM. We do not offer extended PM care on Fridays in the summer.
We offer an exciting theme-based program (new theme weekly), with many special guests, music, water play, and science exploration. Lunch and snack is included!

Nes Gadol Confirmation Classes for Teens & Young Adults with Special Needs: M...

This is an ongoing, weekly socialization and self-advocacy program based on Jewish text (Pirke Avot) that will help teens continue to expand their Jewish experience and knowledge of prayer, ethics, core values, practice and holidays. Participants will develop friendships, social skills and a sense of personal responsibility.

Vista Inspire: Post Nes Gadol

Post Nes Gadol is a program designed for Jewish teens with special needs who have already celebrated their B'nei Mitzvah. It provides participants with a sacred space to gain a deeper understanding of their own Jewish identities, create friendships and participate in Jewish community through further exploration of Jewish concepts and values. This class is held on Mondays from 3:30-5:15PM.

Jewish Student Union HS Clubs on Campus

Jewish Student Union aims to get more Jewish teens in public high schools to do something Jewish by hosting club meetings during lunch, before, or after school. Programs include speakers, discussions, and interactive activities. Snacks are always served. In addition, JSU sponsors activities outside of school. Each club is governed by elected officers who meet regularly to discuss program topics, outside activities and calendars.

Nes Gadol Bar/Bat Mitzvah Buddy Program

Become a Bar/Bat Mitzvah Buddy! Attend weekly Bar/Bat Mitzvah classes with children who have autism or other special needs and help them prepare for their "big day." Classes take place on Mondays from 3:30-5:15PM. Community service hours are available.
