The Mitzvah Volunteer Program is a four-week orientation program for boys and girls that teaches our volunteers how to interact with children who have special needs. Volunteers will learn about various disabilities, appropriate conduct when volunteering, the importance of giving back to the community, and the huge impact they can make on others.

Camp starts daily at 9:30 am and ends at 3:30 pm (2:30 on Fridays).

Nagel Jewish Academy

Nagel Jewish Academy (NJA) is an after-school Hebrew program four days a week for Jewish children ages 5 to 13 who do not currently attend a Jewish day school. NJA is almost free of charge and all Jewish children are welcome regardless of the level of observance or background. Our teaching staff caters to each student’s individual needs and abilities ensuring that each child receives a quality Jewish education. At NJA, the joys, values, and traditions of Judaism are brought to life!

Our annual, popular, in-person communal Shabbat Dinner will be combined with a special, hybrid “Every First Friday”!
Nes Gadol Alumni, Family and Friends…all are welcome!

All are welcome as we gather together via Zoom for Shabbat Rituals, Blessing, Song, and Friendship. Join us for an interactive experience. Shabbat materials will be provided to download and there is a Challah and grape juice delivery option.
