Camp Gan Elohim!

Led by the Early Childhood Center program director Donna Becker, through arts, crafts, music, science/nature, cooking and drama, your children will experience and enjoy summer fun. They offer activities geared specifically for this age group, working on kindergarten readiness skills set in a fun, safe, familiar, nurturing environment and led by current Pre-K and TK teachers. Plus, special guests will join for some of the weekly themes. Camp hours are 9am-1pm, except for currently enrolled 18 month-2 year old children who go from 9am-Noon.

Valley Outreach Synagogue Center for Jewish Learning

Learn about the innovative home-based Hebrew school program that everyone is talking about! Small groups of children meet once a week for two hours in the comfort of a local private home. Conejo Valley Friendship Circle

Conejo Valley Friendship Circle creates inclusion and friendship for children and teens with special needs. We empower our teen volunteers to become engaged and caring community leaders.

We strive to create a more compassionate community in which individuals with special needs are fully embraced as contributing members. Our teen volunteers gain a deeper and more meaningful perspective on life, which shapes how they will impact the world for the better.

Jewish Teen Learning Center (JTLC)

HAMAKOM is excited to partner with JTeenLearning to provide our community with a meaningful and accessible post-Bar and Bat Mitzvah program. We invite Jewish teens (8th-12th grade) throughout the San Fernando and Conejo Valley to meet on Sundays (10am-12:30pm) once a month during the school-year for unique learning and advocacy training.
The following topics will be explored through interactive programs and field trips:

• History of Jewish Life in America
• Jewish Communities Around the World

Valley Outreach Synagogue Teens 7th – 12th Grade

Once students complete their 6th-grade year in JEMS, they transition into

our Teen Program which offers 7th through 12th graders an opportunity to explore the social realities of this time in their lives guided by Rabbi Ron Li-Paz and Teen & Intergenerational Specialist, Jacqui Kolker.

Through interactive group games, relevant Jewish text study, critical thinking about gender norms, pop culture, and ethics, teens will be able to ask questions and feel heard in a safe environment.

USY Far West Region

We are the Far West region of USY, spanning Southern California, Nevada, Arizona, New Mexico, Utah, and Hawaii. USY is USCJ?s youth movement for Conservative Jewish teens across North America. For more than 60 years, USY has taught young Jews the values and skills they need to become exceptional leaders in their religious and secular communities.
