Teen Experiential Educators

For Jewish educators working on the front line of Jewish experiential education with teens – at synagogues, schools, JCCs and camps - BJE offers a variety of opportunities for professional development.

Mentoring BJE’s Teen Experiential Mentoring Fellowship is open to staff who work with teens and offers a combination of professional training and mentorship with seasoned professionals in the field.

University Access BJE and the Jewish Federation offer subsidies for university studies for eligible professionals working in teen education or engagement.

Service Learning Network for Educators is a professional learning network for experiential educators who work with teens where we explore best practices in Jewish Service Learning, collaborate, and share ideas with one another.

Service Learning Educator and Program Consultations support and resources available at no cost to educators.

For information about any of BJE’s work with professional teen educators, contact BJE Director of Jewish Educational Services, David Lewis, 323-761-8618.
