The Academy of the Arts, the flagship school of the JCC, provides individualized education for each and every child infusing them with a love for lifelong learning, character building, companionship, empathy, and courageous leadership.
The Academy prepares children to be inquisitive learners and team players with a love for Jewish traditions and values.
Our students’ families become a part of a nurturing, warm and giving community and extended family providing them with a sense of belonging, security, Jewish identity and pride.
Congregation Ner Tamid Preschool was established to meet the needs of families of all denominations desiring a warm and nurturing preschool experience for their children. For children 2-5, our Preschool program promotes cognitive, social, emotional, physical and creative development. Our children are also given the opportunity to observe and experience Jewish rituals, celebrations, and customs so that they can develop their own Jewish identities. We have Friday Shabbat parties, hands-on activities and projects, family programs and more.
Tuvia Preschool strives to enhance the learning and development of young children in a secure and caring Jewish environment. The curriculum offers a variety of experiences involving space, indoor-outdoor play, language expression, and flexibly scheduled quiet and active times suitable to the various stages of growth. Self-paced experiential learning and discovery are used to develop the social, emotional and creative skills of each child. Jewish experiences and traditions are presented in a wholesome environment.
CLAL stands for Children Learning and Living in Jewish Community. In our religious school, we strive to create an embracing and stimulating Jewish community for our children in Kindergarten - 7th Grade. Our program is designed to enable students to take root in their Jewish past and commit themselves to a Jewish future by living and learning their Jewish present. Our philosophy is that students learn by doing, and our curriculum is shared through project-based learning and experiences.
The Growing Garden Preschool & Kindergarten is a place where
young children discover creative and nurturing experiences.
Our Preschool fosters a life-long quest and love for learning,
building a strong foundation for social, emotional, academic,
physical and spiritual growth. We are the only Jewish Preschool
in the South Bay that is Reggio Emilia inspired.

Congregation Tikvat Jacob Religious School is a service of an Egalitarian-Conservative Synagogue in Manhattan Beach. We meet twice a week and offer programs ranging from preschool to teens. Our community consists of families from all over the South Bay and its surrounding areas.
Each summer our preschool is open for our Camp Growing Garden. The camp is for children from 3 months through 4 years of age. For children 5 years and older we have a separate Camp Gan Israel at the same campus.
Each week of camp we have a unique theme where all the activities and learning follow the weekly theme. Here are some of the activities your child will enjoy at Camp Growing Garden
