Preschool is the beginning of many years of education. In an environment of caring and and understanding, the staff of the Early Childhood Education Center (ECEC) at Temple Etz Chaim works to help our children grow socially, physically, academically and spiritually through a program rich in stimulating activity. The ECEC environment is designed to create an atmosphere that enables our children to grow at their own pace. We believe that children learn through discovery, experimentation and problem solving.

Temple Adat Elohim's Early Childhood Center is more than just a school, it's a community. We celebrate the yearly cycle of Jewish Holidays with our clergy, gifted and award winning teachers and music specialist teaching Judaism's rich traditions. We are a warm and nurturing environment offering low student to teacher ratios. Our teachers integrate the Judaic curriculum through all the modalities using hands on materials in a child centered curriculum design. TAE ECC nurtures all aspects of a child's development: social, emotional, cognitive, physical and spiritual.

This environmental festival and family fun day brings together Jewish learning, outdoor adventures, and eco-friendly activities in the beautiful Santa Monica Mountains at Shalom Institute's Malibu campus. Enjoy our new Climbing Wall & Ropes Course up in the trees and experience Tu B'Shvat -themed activities. Note: due to limited capacity, we cannot guarantee Climbing Wall & Ropes Course spots for participants arriving after 2:30 PM. No pets allowed.

We are accredited by the Schools Commission of the Bureau of Jewish Education of Southern California (BJE) and the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC). Students who complete the program and fulfill its requirements are eligible to receive 10 language credits per year.
