Preschool is the beginning of many years of education. In an environment of caring and and understanding, the staff of the Early Childhood Education Center (ECEC) at Temple Etz Chaim works to help our children grow socially, physically, academically and spiritually through a program rich in stimulating activity. The ECEC environment is designed to create an atmosphere that enables our children to grow at their own pace. We believe that children learn through discovery, experimentation and problem solving. Our learning activities encourage the development of self-confidence, language and a positive self-image. We emphasize the role of the family and the celebration of our lives through the Jewish Life Cycle. Throughout the year, we have many family based activities, and we encourage parent involvement through parent education classes, classroom volunteering, Mom's, Dad's and Grandparent's Days, and Jewish cultural and holiday celebrations. Beginning at 18 months through 5 years old and infant care beginning at 6 weeks old.
