Yom Hashoah
Yom HaShoah, or Holocaust Remembrance Day, is a special day to remember the six million Jewish lives lost during the Holocaust and honor the survivors. It’s observed on the 27th of Nisan in the Hebrew calendar, usually in April or May.
The day includes memorial services, moments of silence, and educational events to help people remember the horrors of the Holocaust and the importance of preventing such a tragedy from happening again. In Israel, a siren is sounded for one minute to honor those who were lost. It's a time to reflect, learn, and keep the memory alive.
