At 1:00 pm, join a Skirball docent on an hour-long guided exploration of Sendak's artistic influences and sixty-year career. An additional tour at 11:00 am takes place on Saturdays and Sundays.

Tuesday, June 11 @ 7 PM, Valley Beth Shalom; Wednesday, June 12, @ 10:30am, Temple Judea. Welcome Erev Shavuot on Tuesday evening with a "Tikkun Lael" hosted by VBS. Then, on Wednesday, join Rabbi Aaronson and Rabbi Cantor Wissot for a 90-minute Shavuot service and Torah Study.

Sunday, June 9, 11:00 am–12:00 pm and 2:00–3:00 pm
Join Skirball Artist in Residence Adam Silverman as you squish, scrape, and mix to make natural pigments for an art project from soil, spices, berries, and other colorful plants. Then use your pigments to express yourself in painting. Plant arrangements in vessels from the Common Ground installation will be on hand if you become inspired to paint a still life!
