Temple Beth Hillel Dept. of ECE

The Early Childhood Education Center at Temple Beth Hillel is devoted to enrich a child's early years in a series of programs from birth through pre-kindergarten. Parent and Me classes let parents of infants and toddlers share their experiences in a supportive group setting weekly. Sessions include: art, story time, body movement, large and small motor activities, free play, snack and singing. While children are in free play, adults discuss parenting issues. Our Nursery School (ages 2.7-4) and our Pre-Kindergarten (ages 4-5), take place in a nurturing atmosphere, encouraging children to explore and make choices, to actively participate, and to experience a sense of security and success. Our staff respects the individuality of each child and creates a sense of community. Our Judaic program is integrated into our secular curriculum daily. Our children participate in special holidays and Shabbat observances. We also have a very active Parent Association, offering many committees to join.
