The American Library by Yinka Shonibare CBE RA
Browse artist Yinka Shonibare’s immersive installation The American Library, where six thousand books are wrapped in textiles with the names of US immigrants and Black Americans affected by the Great Migration. Learn about their impact and share your own story.

Congregation Ner Tamid Preschool was established to meet the needs of families of all denominations desiring a warm and nurturing preschool experience for their children. For children 2-5, our Preschool program promotes cognitive, social, emotional, physical and creative development. Our children are also given the opportunity to observe and experience Jewish rituals, celebrations, and customs so that they can develop their own Jewish identities. We have Friday Shabbat parties, hands-on activities and projects, family programs and more.
Each summer our preschool is open for our Camp Growing Garden. The camp is for children from 3 months through 4 years of age. For children 5 years and older we have a separate Camp Gan Israel at the same campus.
Each week of camp we have a unique theme where all the activities and learning follow the weekly theme. Here are some of the activities your child will enjoy at Camp Growing Garden

The Blessing Exchange offers our students and their families service learning and volunteer opportunities!
A Service Program for Jewish Teens and Young Adults with Autism and Neurodiverse Abilities in cooperation with Los Angeles Senior Living Communities and other Local Service Organizations
We offer a preschool summer program for children ages 2-5, including an incoming special program just for kindergartners. With year-round and week-to-week contracts available for the summer, we have a program that can fit your schedule. This summer we're focusing on Jewish Values to help enhance our superhero skills to become great humans!

Camp Gan Israel's summer program combines sports, crafts, trips and so much more with a creative and fun Jewish experience. Each week includes exciting trips, water fun, sports, science experiments, cooking classes, karate lessons & more, providing every child with a wonderful camp experience.
