Hamakom Jewish Youth Network for youth and teens in 3rd-12th grade and beyond!

Looking for a place to meet new friends while exploring your Jewish identity? You’ve found the perfect place! The Jewish Youth Network is the youth department powered by HAMAKOM in Woodland Hills. We are a program built on five values of religious identity, Jewish identity, community involvement, social engagement, and building leadership skills. These five branches dictate our programming and create many avenues for our youth to be involved.

Temple Etz Chaim Preschool

Preschool is the beginning of many years of education. In an environment of caring and and understanding, the staff of the Early Childhood Education Center (ECEC) at Temple Etz Chaim works to help our children grow socially, physically, academically and spiritually through a program rich in stimulating activity. The ECEC environment is designed to create an atmosphere that enables our children to grow at their own pace. We believe that children learn through discovery, experimentation and problem solving.

Temple Adat Elohim EC

Temple Adat Elohim's Early Childhood Center is more than just a school, it's a community. We celebrate the yearly cycle of Jewish Holidays with our clergy, gifted and award winning teachers and music specialist teaching Judaism's rich traditions. We are a warm and nurturing environment offering low student to teacher ratios. Our teachers integrate the Judaic curriculum through all the modalities using hands on materials in a child centered curriculum design. TAE ECC nurtures all aspects of a child's development: social, emotional, cognitive, physical and spiritual.

Ilan Ramon Early Childhood Education Center

The Ilan Ramon ECE developmental curriculum contains art, play, cooking, language skills beginning reading skills, music, science, movement/dance, social studies, Judaic studies, and Hebrew language. Outside playtime is daily to build motor and social skills. Children aged 2-3 learn about color and shape, letters and numbers, the weather, the world, calendar, Jewish holidays and customs. Kids transition into our TK class for 4-5 year olds where pre-reading, writing, and math skills form.
