Pressman Academy ECC offers half-day (9am-12:45pm) and full-day (9am-3pm) programs for children aged 2-5.
The Pressman Academy ECC is committed to play-based learning because we believe it is the most enriching learning for young children. We utilize a theme-based curriculum that focuses on various units of study that build on the areas of cognitive, social, physical, emotional, and spiritual development. Developmentally Appropriate Practice is utilized through center-based classrooms and various frameworks like Reggio Emilia, Constructivism, and Emergent Curriculum. Each child is viewed as an individual and the entire preschool community – teachers, parents, and children – partner to achieve learning goals.
We offer a fully integrated Jewish program. We celebrate Shabbat and the holidays in a way that is meaningful, age-appropriate, and joyful. We encourage the children to experience God's presence everywhere, from the classroom to the synagogue, to the sandbox, raising their awareness of their own special place in God's world.
