At NACHSHON MINYAN, children have the opportunity to "perceive wonders" from the study of Torah. Our educational programs provide participants with the opportunity to learn about the teachings and traditions of Judaism in a creative and inspiring way.

Our curriculum prepares children for full participation in the synagogue service as well as continued Jewish learning. After they finish sixth grade, students have the basic Hebrew reading skills to start their bar/bat mitzvah training.
instills students with a love and appreciation for the wisdom of Torah and our Jewish heritage and helps them to forge a strong and proud Jewish identity. Through an inspired mix of biblical text study and creative arts, students gain an understanding of Jewish teachings and values. Our emphasis on the concept of Tikun Olam, or "repairing the world" fosters the moral and ethical development of our students. Leading by example, we encourage them to show compassion for others through their words and deeds, and to reach out and effect positive change for the Jewish people and the larger community.
