Temple Emanuel Religious School

At Temple Emanuel's Religious School, we believe that experiencing and living Judaism is preferable to "learning about"Judaism. Our approach to Jewish education centers around project-based classrooms in which all the students work in small groups on Torah, holiday, and Judaica project units. These culminate in a "Hagigah" (community celebration) during which students present their work . Our Hebrew program is unique, in that all students study in one room, the "Beit Midrash", to learn to read and understand Hebrew prayers and more. In the Fall, we will offer a one day per week program for students in grades K-7.
