Temple Israel of Hollywood Religious School

TIOH's Religious School offers a Primary Program for Grades K-3 (Sunday mornings) and 4-6 (Sunday mornings and Wednesday afternoons). Younger students are introduced to Jewish learning through music, stories, Israeli dance, games, and arts and crafts. They learn about Jewish holidays, have exposure to the Hebrew language, and engage in age appropriate, interactive tefillah. Family programs, TOTally Shabbat experiences and shared school, congregational and communal events form the context that each student begins to develop a meaningful Jewish identity. Our Bar/Bat Mitzvah age students address the many issues important in preparation. Experiential learning, discussions, and activities continue as they explore their Jewish identities.
