Teen DOR (Descendants of Remembrance) Program

Holocaust Museum LA is excited to invite high school students to apply for our Teen DOR (Descendants of Remembrance) program, a transformative 9-week intensive training designed for grandchildren and great-grandchildren of Holocaust survivors. This program is an opportunity to steward and preserve your family’s legacy while developing leadership and presentation skills.

About Teen DOR:
Participants will explore the history of the Holocaust, develop strong storytelling techniques, and enhance their public speaking abilities. By the end of the program, students will be prepared to educate their peers on the Holocaust’s lasting lessons, share the survival stories of their grandparents or great-grandparents, and become leaders in their communities.

Program Details:
• Dates: Tuesdays, January 14–March 18, 2025 (excluding February 18 for President’s Week)
• Time: 4:30–7:00 PM
• Location: Holocaust Museum LA
• Eligibility: Open to high school students
• Expectations: Attend all sessions and complete assigned exercises
• Snacks provided (students may also bring dinner)
