Pick-Up: Kindergarteners are picked up at Franklin Elementary and walked to Beth Shir Shalom; drop-offs from other schools are also welcome.
Calendar: Follows the SMMUSD calendar, adjusting for minimum days and days off at SMMUSD, but BSS is open.
Camps: Optional Winter and Spring Camps are available.
Environment: Warm, welcoming, and safe space.

Artwell at Mishkon

The Jewish Roots Project is a NEW program at Mishkon; a collaboration with ARTWELL. Every week, kiddos will alternate between process art or hands-on cooking. They’ll be fully immersed in modern Jewish culture, singing music, tasting traditional cuisine, creating meaningful art, and strengthening their connections to their roots. This is a drop-off program for TK-K kids.

A fully-inclusive leadership development & mentorship program for teens and adults interested in giving back to The Miracle Project community. Through arts-based acts of service and community-organizing activities, individuals in the Miracles in Action program take the skills and characteristics cultivated in TMP classes and apply them as leaders in their communities.

Classes are online with opportunities for in-person events in the Los Angeles area.

Our Early Childhood Program serves children from 18 months to five years and offers a year-round program, a high-quality curriculum, yoga and mindfulness classes, and half-day and full-day options.

Beth Shir Shalom ECC

Our program serves children 18 months through 5 years old, including a Pre-Kindergarten (PK). We have availability of half day, full day, and extended day from 8-5:30 daily. Beth Shir Shalom Early Childhood Center is located safely and securely within the Temple's facilities on a quiet, residential street. Additionally, we have electronically monitored security. Our preschool has bright indoor classrooms and features a large outside play area. Our Gan Shalom has a well-equipped play yard, climbing structure, and sandbox - all specially designed for hands-on, creative play.
