Our Early Childhood Program serves children from 18 months to five years and offers a year-round program, a high-quality curriculum, yoga and mindfulness classes, and half-day and full-day options.
We provide a warm, nurturing environment influenced by Jewish traditions where children can develop to their fullest potential.
We treat children as unique individuals and support, guide, and stimulate their social, emotional, spiritual, cognitive, creative, and physical growth.
The KM Religious School vision is to expand the mind and open the soul, endowing each child with a passion for lifelong learning, and a fundamental appreciation of what it means to be Jewish in today?s world, affording students the opportunity to study God, Torah, Israel, Mitzvot, Jewish holidays, culture and history. The process of being a lifelong learner is essential for the survival of the Jewish people. Our KM Religious School is committed to its students and families to develop the love of Jewish learning not only as a student but also as a Jewish adult.
Our program serves children 18 months through 5 years old, including a Pre-Kindergarten (PK). We have availability of half day, full day, and extended day from 8-5:30 daily. Beth Shir Shalom Early Childhood Center is located safely and securely within the Temple's facilities on a quiet, residential street. Additionally, we have electronically monitored security. Our preschool has bright indoor classrooms and features a large outside play area. Our Gan Shalom has a well-equipped play yard, climbing structure, and sandbox - all specially designed for hands-on, creative play.
The Blessing Exchange offers our students and their families service learning and volunteer opportunities!
A Service Program for Jewish Teens and Young Adults with Autism and Neurodiverse Abilities in cooperation with Los Angeles Senior Living Communities and other Local Service Organizations
Since 1965, Kehillat Israel Early Childhood Center (ECC) has provided educational experiences of the highest caliber and a gateway to the Jewish community for young families in Pacific Palisades and West Los Angeles. We foster a rich environment, based on best practices, to ensure that children grow in all developmental areas. Our community is warm and nurturing, with a basis in Jewish tradition and values. We want your child to love coming to school, so we make sure that school is fun, exciting, and welcoming. We look forward to meeting you!
SMS B?Yachad: Jewish Family Learning is the Santa Monica Synagogue?s program of religious education for youth and families. Synagogue members and their children meet together on Sunday mornings once a month to learn about the Torah, the history of Judaism, Jewish values and traditions, and the Hebrew language. Led by Rabbi Shira Freidlin and supported by Madrichim (tutors) drawn from our teens, the interactive Sunday sessions use the Jewish holidays as the starting point for explorations of all things Jewish.
