BJE offers a wide range of support to schools, educators and families with the goal of helping ensure the highest levels of quality and accessibility across the religious spectrum and through the greater Los Angeles area. Day schools are accredited full-time K-12 private schools.

BJE represents Jewish day schools across California on the California Department of Education Private School Advisory Committee (CPSAC), the California Private Schools Organization (CAPSO) and many schools located within LAUSD.
BJE affiliated Day Schools undergo a joint accreditation by BJE and the California Association of Independent Schools (CAIS) and/or Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC).
BJE is committed to assisting day schools in building endowments and annual campaigns while also reducing costs in order to address affordability and accessibility issues.
A Student Services Community of Practice and a Student Services Google group both designed for discussing and sharing information related to meeting the needs of diverse learners as well as the needs of academic, social and emotional needs of all learners in day schools.
